The Brooklyn Brewery Mash Tour Returns To Nashville

The Brooklyn Brewery will return to Music City in March with their second annual Mash tour.  In collaboration with local chefs, artists, and brewers, The Mash will host a great line up of events including dinners, concerts, and undoubtedly plenty of beer.  For those unfamiliar, The Mash tour is the world's largest traveling food, beer, and arts festival, making stops this year in ten US cities as well as London and Stockholm.

Here is the schedule for the week:


Sunday, March 2, 2014:

Dinner On The Farm - Green Door Gourmet - Tickets $75
Chef Andrew Gerson (Brooklyn Brewery) and Chef Brandon Frohne (Mason's at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel / Forage South) have developed a menu that takes advantage of the bountiful Nashville area. The result is a family-style feast, local artists, and Brooklyn beer.

Tuesday, March 4, 2014:

Craft Beer Revolution - Blackstone Brewery - Tickets: $5 (Includes A Complimentary Beer)
Brooklyn Brewery co-founder Steve Hindy and staff from Blackstone, Jackalope, and Yazoo discuss the circumstances and ambitions that allowed a handful of individuals across the country to challenge one of the largest corporate dynasties in American history.

Wednesday, March 5, 2014:

Mash EDU: Beer & Spice, Making Nice - Fort Houston - Tickets: $5
Chef Andrew will present four bites and four beers, explaining what to look for when creating the perfect pairing. The flavor focus of this installment of Mash Edu is spice.

Brooklyn Ha Ha - The High Watt - Tickets $3
Brooklyn Ha Ha introduces some of NYC's best under-the-radar talent along with one of Nashville's very own.

Thursday, March 6, 2014:

Found Footage Festival - Belcourt Theater - Tickets: $12
Found Footage Festival delivers the good, the bad and the ugly of forgotten film.   

Freakin' Weekend V - The End - Tickets: $15 Single Day Pass / $40 Three Day Pass
First day of three-day music series including PUJOL, Tweens, Jack Name, D. Watusi, Perfect Pussy, Slammers.

Friday, March 7, 2014:
Slow Supper with Dinner Lab - Surprise Location TBA - Tickets: $60
A pop-up dinner party, hosted in a unique, non-traditional location.  In collaboration with Dinner Lab.

Freakin' Weekend V - Exit / In - Tickets: $15 Single Day Pass / $40 Three Day Pass
Second day of three-day music series including Diarrhea Planet, Turbo Fruits, Hunters, Cy Barkley & the Way Outsiders, Fox Fun, Deluxin.

Saturday, March 8, 2014:

MASH EDU - Home Brewer's Secret Headquarters - Tickets: $5
Join home brewer, and Brooklyn Brewery Event Ambassador Adrian Thompson for a home brewing session and comparative tasting of Brooklyn Brewery East India Pale Ale and a home-brewed clone recipe.

Freakin' Weekend V - The End - Tickets: $15 Single Day Pass / $40 Three Day Pass
Third day of three-day music series including Natural Child, Ex-Cult, Cheap Time, Leather Nightmare, Juan Wauters, The Paperhead, Weekend Babes.
