Happy New Year... A Holiday Roundup.

The holiday season seems to always come and go in a blur.  We took some time off from blogging to focus on visiting with friends and family, take a vacation, indulge in libations, and of course rest.  While we were busy not being busy, some things happened, so let's get everyone caught up to speed...

The Filling Station East and The Hop Stop Open In East Nashville
East Nashville has finally hopped on the bandwagon with two new growler filling stations.  In December, The Filling Station opened a second location next to Edley's East and Fat Bottom Brewery at 904 B Main St.  Meanwhile, this month, The Hop Stop opened at 2909 B Gallatin Pike, offering growler fills as well as beers for on premise consumption and a small menu of hot dogs and other snacks.

Jackalope Begins Canning
In December, Jackalope began canning Thunder Ann Pale Ale and it is available in six packs at select stores and bars around the city.  Personally, we feel like the timing couldn't be better with the Superbowl coming up and all.

Terrapin Announces 2014 Line Up
Last year, Terrapin made waves with their heavily hyped White Chocolate Moo Hoo and Cinnamon Roll'd Wake-N-Bake.  This year they return with some interesting new brews and some familiar old staples.  Check out their list:
