2013 Holiday Gift Guide

In case you were wondering, Christmas is only 36 days away.  Yeah, we haven't started shopping yet either, but there's no need to go and get stressed out.  We've put together a list of some of the best gifts a beer lover could ask for.  So whether you're buying a gift or putting together a wish list for yourself, we're here to help!

Speigelau Beer Snifter Set - Sometimes a pint glass just doesn't cut it, and personally, we feel as though every home should be stocked with good snifters.  Speigelau makes some really great beer glasses which are proven to enhance the beer drinking experience (Seriously, do a side by side comparison). $19.90 at Amazon

Speigelau IPA Glasses Set - While you're at it, why not get some glasses for those hop bombs that we all love so much?  These glasses were designed in collaboration with two guys who know a thing or two about an IPA: Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head and Ken Grossman of Sierra Nevada. $29.10 at Amazon

Brooklyn Brew Shop Kit / Book - If you're buying for an experienced home brewer, this may not be the right book or kit for them.  However, if you're buying for someone who's looking to get started, Brooklyn Brew Shop has done a great job simplifying the sometimes not-so-simple brewing process with their book and brew kit.  Aside from being simple, the book includes 52 great seasonal recipes including an Everyday IPA and Rose Cheeked & Blonde for spring, a Grapefruit Honey Ale and S’More Beer for summer, an Apple Crisp Ale and Peanut Butter Porter for fall, and Chestnut Brown ale and Gingerbread Ale for winter. Kit: $39.95 at Amazon / Book: $13.98 at Amazon

Up & Zu Bottle Opener - Most everyone has a bottle opener, but few have a bottle opener this awesome.  Aside from it's sleek, modern design, the Up & Zu Bottle Opener opens bottles without denting the cap, which is perfect for those who like to keep their bottlecaps. $40.00 at Amazon

Brooklyn Brine Hop Pickles - Brooklyn Brine makes some amazing pickles, but they really upped their game when they collaborated with Dogfish Head to make "Hop Pickles."  These pickles are made with Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, caramelized onions, and cascade hops, and they are very tasty. $19.99 at Amazon

Cascade Hop Candy - Maybe it's because we love cascade hops so much, but this hard candy is outstanding.  It is made with real cascade hops, and is a great treat for those situations when you want an IPA, but drinking just isn't appropriate... or when you just want a nice sweet treat. $10.99 at Amazon

Broo Shampoo & Conditioner - We love beer, and we like clean hair... seems like a win / win.  We think your beer loving friends would agree.  Broo shampoo and conditioner is made with real beer, and actually works quite well. Shampoo: $12.99 at Amazon / Conditioner: $12.99 on Amazon

Flip Top Growler - Most beer lovers have a growler or two (Or, if you are like us, you probably have more than two), but few have a growler this excellent.  Aside from holding carbonation better (And longer) than a typical screw top growler, this growler screams, "Why yes, I am serious about my beer, thank you very much." $38.00 at Amazon

Luckies of London Pop Chart Lab Many Varieties of Beer - We love this print from Luckies of London.  Not only would it look great hung on the wall, your friends will get a healthy dose of beer 101 every time they visit. $40.00 at Amazon
