Get Funky With Yazoo On May 5th

Last November, Yazoo Brewing announced the collaboration with Brandon Jones of Embrace The Funk to create a line up of sour beers.  Since then, they have collaborated with New Belgium to create "Rufus", along with brewing a Flanders Red aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels (fermented with a custom blend of microbes), a 100% barrel fermented Lambic style beer, and a 100% spontaneously inoculated wild ale, among others that have yet to be announced.  To showcase all of their hard work, Yazoo and Embrace The Funk with be throwing a party on May 5th, dubbed Funk Fest.

Brandon Jones and Neil McCormick (the “Beer Evangelist” at Yazoo) have put together a line up of beers that showcase a full profile of funk and sour.  Additionally, local artisan cheese makers, The Bloomy Rind will be on hand with funky cheeses while a DJ spins some funky music.  Only 200 tickets are available and can be purchased here.
